Name: Cheesy Skillet Meatballs with Garlic Toast
Yield: makes about 22 meatballs to serve 4-6
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef; 1 large egg; 1/2 cup breadcrumbs; a small red onion, finely minced (about 1/2 cup); 1 tsp onion salt; 1/2 tsp dried oregano; 1/2 tsp dried thyme; 1/2 tsp fresh cracked black pepper; 1 heaping Tbsp ketchup (I used my favorite Jalapeno Ketchup ); 1 heaping Tbsp A1 sauce; 16 oz jar of your favorite marinara, or spaghetti sauce; 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (a little more if you like things really cheesy); garlic toasts; 1 baguette; olive oil for brushing; several garlic cloves, sliced lengthwise (don't peel)
