Ingredients: 1.5 tsp active dry yeast; 2 tbsp sugar; 1 1/2 cups water; 3 1/2 cups unbleached all purpose flour; 1/2 tsp baking soda; 1/2 tsp salt; 4 tbsp olive oil; 2 medium onions ((or 1 if you're using them raw. If caramelizing the onions, slice them thinly. If using raw, cut the onions into a very fine dice)); 2 tbsp poppy seeds ((I used white poppy seeds because I had those, but black poppy seeds would be fine and would probably look prettier because they'd stand out))
