Ingredients: 1 cup (230g; 2 sticks) unsalted butter; 1 and 1/2 cups (187g) all-purpose flour (spoon & leveled); 1/2 teaspoon baking powder; 1/2 teaspoon salt; 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar; 4 large eggs, at room temperature; 1 and 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract; 1 and 1/2 Tablespoons cornstarch; 1/4 cup (60ml) warm water; 1 lb strawberries, hulled and sliced in half (you can use frozen; don't thaw); zest and juice from 1/2 lemon; 1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar
