Ingredients: 1 cup rolled oats (not instant); 2 cups boiling milk; 2 packets yeast; 1/2 cup of warm water; 2 teaspoons kosher salt; 1 large egg, beaten; 1/2 cup honey; 4 tablespoons shortening, room temperature; 5 to 5 1/2 cups all-purpose flour; 1 tablespoon milk; 1 tablespoon water; 1/4 cup rolled oats
